best thing I read this week

Here is attached a sports article on NFL MVP Matthew Stafford. https://heavy.com/sports/nfl/detroit-lions/matthew-stafford-announces-major-news-nfl/

It’s weird correct? Lions his former team talking about him making a major announcement, he plays for the LA Rams & is currently playing so why would his former team care about a announcement? It shapes around saying he was retiring moments before he actual stated that he was playing another year?

What is talked about in the article is just hyping up Matthew Stafford like he’s retiring when he wasn’t. No information from a creditable source. It was juicy good gossip which is a great find to read for a sports reader like me.(any publication on record of this blog 2/9/2026)

Point i’m making is that of one: A team organization benefits off a Player’s name regardless of what is consider legacy or built off a Player’s name somewhere else.

Matthew Stafford wasn’t considered a winner in Detroit. Good to Decent player never a Superbowl win or lose. Not even a playoff win. So to still promote his name at a different point especially it’s been over 5+ years since he’s played a game in a Lions jersey.
