Good evening, you may say: Why the article about fentanyl? Reason I picked this topic is that it literally is relevant to me personally.

Reason for that as I will give a little back ground: I work in the medical field as a Medical Assistant. So based off the situation I have to give CPR to a patient. This is relevant because I am blogging right after my CPR class 2/23 & one of the key points the teaching instructor gave out was of whom: “How to use narcan & how much more today in 2026 we have to use it.”

For different reasons more due to even drugs that are considered recreational like marijuana or others having fentanyl in them & stopping overdoses.

How does this tie into with the article attached? It was very touching to see this article when searching up on this topic because only way to help the future is to teach & prepare them.
